<i><span style="color: #cccccc;">This post contains sponsored links from Maple Holistics*</span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #999999;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello lovelies, I hope you are having an amazing day! Today I am going to be reviewing the <a href="https://www.mapleholistics.com/products/hair-care/shampoo/natural-tea-tree-oil-shampoo/" target="_blank">Maple Holistics Tea Tree Shampoo</a>. I have been using this shampoo for the past month and I am so happy with it. Maple Holistics were generous enough to send me this product so I could try it, and I am so excited to share it with you. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is an all natural tea tree oil shampoo and it is cruelty free, paraben free, GMO free and gluten free. Lately I have been trying a more natural approach to some of the products I use on my day to day beauty routine, so I was super excited to try this shampoo. The shampoo retails for $25.00 but I right now are running a sale for $8.95.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbfhyphenhyphen9sRrGcccxSklXVqcHOLmZSnpQFagX09wiLNHOEnOf64e9sLdQzkYxsuqI5He-ZkUgCQmuRP-MDCBFg2GmTQOkmdzVNGapmvWLARLJcpbS_6-SPJyTJTSmKVXkUbptswwEP0XYA2k/s1600/Maple+Holistic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1545" data-original-width="1600" height="618" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbfhyphenhyphen9sRrGcccxSklXVqcHOLmZSnpQFagX09wiLNHOEnOf64e9sLdQzkYxsuqI5He-ZkUgCQmuRP-MDCBFg2GmTQOkmdzVNGapmvWLARLJcpbS_6-SPJyTJTSmKVXkUbptswwEP0XYA2k/s640/Maple+Holistic.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Pros: </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;">This is an all natural product and non toxic.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">It doesn't weight down my hair. I read the ingredient list and it appears to be silicone free. I have been using silicone free products on my hair for about 3 years and so far this is one of the best ones out there. Silicone tensd to make your hair look shiny, feel super soft and be less frizzy, but with time, it will weigh down your hair, not to mention it will also make coloring your hair quite a challenge since hair dye can't stick properly to your hair. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">It smells so good. It is a very fresh, clean smell. Not only that, my hair smelled good for a while. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Promotes scalp health. Tea Tree Oil is known for helping get rid of bacteria in your scalp, which helps reduce dandruff and itchiness. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">It suds up really nice, even though it is sulfate free. Many products that are sulfate free tend to no lather that much, but this shampoo really does.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Cons:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<ul>
<li>To be honest, the only con I see is that there is only 8 ounces in the bottle. I wish I could buy a bigger bottle. </li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In my opinion, this is a fantastic shampoo. I am definitely going to purchase more once I run out of it. If you are looking for a good natural shampoo, you definitely need to try this product. I also wanted to mention, that Maple Holistic has a <a href="https://www.mapleholistics.com/free-sample/" target="_blank">Free Sample Program</a> for you to try. Maple Holistic have many products like these that I will be trying as well.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello again my lovelies. I hope you all are having a great day. A couple of weeks ago I was sent two lip products from <a href="https://redgatebeauty.com/" target="_blank">Red Gate Beauty</a>. They are the Sense Cosmetics, Lip Sense by Sene Gence Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade <a href="https://redgatebeauty.com/neutral-colors/" target="_blank">First Love</a> and the Sense Cosmetics, Lip Sense by Sene Gence Moisturizing Gloss in the shade <a href="https://redgatebeauty.com/glosses-copy/" target="_blank">Sand Gloss</a>. I have been playing with these for about a week and I wanted to review them for you guys. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So first, what is LipSense? The product claims to be waterproof, kiss proof and will not smear, rub off or budge for 4-18 hours. The product contains Denature Alcohol which helps with the application of the product, tree peony extract, St. John Wort extract, Linden Flower Extract, Isodonis Japonicus Extract and Mica. It is also wax free, lead-free, gluten free, vegan, kosher and not tested on animals. The liquid lipstick retails for $24.99 and the lip gloss retails for $19.99.** </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNmiYhKavi6ow5Hkmkxtwiw8V7KRMN50mcpzmCqQmYDrlaNcCqPvgBo4P1UTool1KF48F-SjP4l5f9weXQYcbnvVBEtTkX-UzYWtMxbyEC4jwoLL-hQVXEcZdxbgxCmFSKIPeZKhRqqs4/s1600/LipSense+.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1408" data-original-width="1600" height="561" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNmiYhKavi6ow5Hkmkxtwiw8V7KRMN50mcpzmCqQmYDrlaNcCqPvgBo4P1UTool1KF48F-SjP4l5f9weXQYcbnvVBEtTkX-UzYWtMxbyEC4jwoLL-hQVXEcZdxbgxCmFSKIPeZKhRqqs4/s640/LipSense+.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Pros:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;">The color selection. I was shocked to see how many shades they have. They have 39 shades available of the Liquid Lipstick (16 warm shades, 20 cool tone shades and 3 neutral shades) and 11 shades of the gloss. They are all so incredibly beautiful and I appreciate the fact that they have separated them into warm tones, cool tones and neutral tones. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Cruelty Free. Although I have used products from companies that have tested on animals, slowly I have been trying to find products that are cruelty free. I'm glad that Red Gate Beauty is a company that stands against animal cruelty.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Long Lasting. Although, the product only lasted 4 hours on me, I am pretty savage with my liquid lipsticks so I really do not expect them to last more than that. </li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Pigmentation. The pigmentation on these is out of the world. The shade I tried is pretty pigmented and it applied beautifully without being patchy. </li>
</ul>
Cons:<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;">Tingling Sensation. The product does mention that you will experience a tingling sensation the first couple of times you try it. The liquid lipstick contains Denature Alcohol, which tingles while it evaporates. Yes, the tingling sensation goes away after a couple of seconds.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Weird Taste and Smell. I have to admit, I really did not like the taste and smell of the liquid lipstick. You can definitely smell the Shea butter, which is great, but it still doesn't mask the almost chemical smell that the liquid lipstick has. Personally I like products that smell and taste sweet. This definitely doesn't. You can taste and smell the alcohol on the product. It will go away after a while but still not my favorite. </li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In my opinion, the liquid lipstick is a good product, but I wish they would change the formula so it has a better taste, smell and not give you a tingling sensation while you are first applying it. Now, the Lip Gloss for me is a HUGE WIN. I loved the color, the little shimmery particles in it, how moisturizing it feels and by itself is opaque enough to give you a nice color to the lips. I think the color selection is fantastic and will probably give it another chance so I can try some of the more vibrant shades. I also love the fact that this is a company that takes pride in using natural products, it is cruelty free and it is made in the USA. </div>

Summer is here! Or was here. I know, I'm a little bit late to the posting party. Anyways, I seriously love the summer days. Coming from the beautiful, and incredibly hot island of Puerto Rico, I always get super excited when summer finally arrives. Sun, shorts, pool, having a BBQ on our deck, hot weather, you name it! I am all over summer. Another thing that many of us associate with summer is beautiful, sun kissed skin......***OK LETS STOP RIGHT HERE FOR A SECOND!!! Oh yeah, even though I come from Puerto Rico, land of the tanned, I was not blessed with JLo skin. I was given a more fair complexion. Okay, more fair complexion is an understatement. I was cursed with whiter than white, five shades whiter than the palest Puerto Rican out there, closer to Irish pale, drown victim white, pale skin. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Since the only safe tan out there is a sunless tan, I will be sharing with you my tricks and tips on how to apply sunless tanner when you are incredibly pale. If sunless tan is hard for normal fair skin, it is ten times harder for very pale, porcelain complexions. Every little mistake will stick out like a sore thumb. By no means this is a "get a perfect tan every time" kind of tricks. I still struggle with patches and streaks here and there (I think with how pale I am this will always happen) but at least it looks natural most of the time.<br />

<b><br /></b>
<b>THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU TAN</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Before even pulling out the self-tanner bottle, there are a couple of things you should do to prevent your tan to develop uneven or patchy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Exfoliate and shave</b>. Self-tanner works by reacting with the dead skin cells of your body. If you want your self-tanner to apply smoothly and evenly, you need to remove any excess of dead skins before you apply it. Remember to always exfoliate BEFORE you shave, even if you are not self-tanning. Exfoliating before you shave helps remove dead cells from around your hairs, helping you get a smoother, closer shave. Also, if you exfoliate after you shave you will irritate your skin, not to mention it will hurt if you have any little cuts from shaving. I use <i>Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub</i>. It smells so good and it is very gritty. I get mine at <a href="https://www.target.com/p/soap-glory-174-sugar-crush-body-scrub-1-0-1oz/-/A-51206619#lnk=sametab" target="_blank">Target</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Dry off completely</b>. If you are still wet when you start applying your self-tanner the water that is still in your skin will make your tan apply streaky. I usually stand in front of my fan for a couple of minutes, and if I washed my hair I wrap it in a towel until I am done. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Apply non-oil based lotion to rough spots</b>. Self-tanners will stick more to skin that is rougher and thicker like your ankles, toes, soles, knees, elbows, wrists, fingers and palms. If you have any other patches where you have rough skin like a scrape, a rash, breakouts etc, you should also apply lotion there. You do not need to apply heaps of lotion, a very thin layer is more than enough to do its job. Make sure your lotion is not oil-based, or it will cause streaks on your tan.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>TIPS AND TRICKS FOR A SMOOTH APPLICATION</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Apply self-tanner in the morning.</b> I know a lot of people that apply their self-tanner at night because the can go to bed and not smell the tanner. I get it, they do stink, but there is a bigger chance of ending up like a hot mess Oompa Loompa if you apply it at night. First, you can risk staining your sheets, and they will most certainly end up smelling like self-tanner. Also, you can end up with sheet marks on your self-tan, or remove some of the product if you are like me and toss and turn all night. The biggest advantage of tanning in the morning instead of at night is that during the day, while your tan develops, you can notice any mistakes and fix them right away. I ALWAYS have streaks on my feet and ankles, and I spot patches on my toes, feet and ankles during the day. I just apply a bit of self-tanner on the patch and move on. That spot will not develop as much as the rest of the body so it will look a lot more natural than doing it the next night and overdeveloping that little spot. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Apply your self-tanner in a room with natural light</b>. I cannot stress this enough, natural light is the best light to apply tanner. You will see more clearly where you are applying it. Artificial lighting, like the one on our bathroom tends to be yellow toned, and your sunless tan is also pretty yellow/orange tone. Artificial lighting will washout the color and you won't be able to see clearly if you are missing a spot. I always apply my tan in our bathroom with the lights off. I have a pretty big window on our bathroom and also a big skylight so it is very easy for me to see what I'm doing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Apply your tan sitting down on a towel</b>. I know this sounds crazy, but it works. If you are standing up you will try to rush things and end up missing spots or applying product unevenly. Plus, most of us are a bit more flexible sitting down than standing up. Take your time and apply everything properly.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Use a brush to apply your self-tanner</b>. I have a big <a href="http://www.bhcosmetics.com/brushes/brush-sets/sculpt-and-blend-2-10-piece-brush-set" target="_blank">kabuki</a> (123 Flat buffing) brush from <i>BH Cosmetics</i> that works GREAT for this. If you use a brush you will get a smoother application than using your hands or a mitt. If you use your hands, you will be left with orange hands, even if you wash them immediately after applying the tanner, and I feel like the mitt absorbs too much product and you really can't see where you are applying product. You might end up applying to much in one spot and too little on another. Use your brush in circular motions and work on sections. Once you have done your whole leg, then use that same brush with NO additional product and apply it to your toes and feet. Remember to apply it in between your toes and on your arch or you will end up with white soles and a clear line of tan vs non-tan skin.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Do not miss important spots that will betray you and scream "I have a fake tan on"</b>. Areas like your armpits, your soles, your hands, between your toes, between your fingers, behind your ears, your knuckles, all need to be tanned. Most people forget these areas and you can tell right away they have a fake tan when they do. Just think about it, when you lift your arms, are your armpits 5 shades lighter that your arm? The answer is no. You don't want to have brown arms and white armpits. Same with your knuckles, when you make a fist with your hand, your knuckles are the same color as your skin, so you have to tan them too. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Let your tan dry off completely</b>. You have to let your tan dry off or you will take it off when you apply clothes and will have clothing marks. If you are in a bit of a hurry, apply baby powder to areas that you know will sweat a bit like the bends of your elbows, armpits, neck, knees etc. This will prevent your tan from creasing in these areas. I always do this on a day I don't have much going on so I have time to dry off completely. Also, wear loose fitting clothes the whole day,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Shower before going to bed that day</b>. If you don't do that your tan will keep developing a bit, so wash it off at night and you will have a beautiful tan.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>TIPS FOR MAINTAINING YOUR TAN</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.</b> Tan reacts with dead skin cells so, if you don't keep your skin hydrated, the tanned skin cells will flake off and your tan will not last as long. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Use a gradual self-tanner every other day.</b> There are so many good gradual self-tanning lotions out there that work wonders and are pretty inexpensive. Use them every other day, to keep you tan looking fresh longer. I love to use <i>Jergens Natural Glow firming Moisturizer.</i> This is so natural looking, and it really doesn't smell like self-tanner which is great. I get mine also at <a href="https://www.target.com/p/jergens-natural-glow-firming-moisturizer/-/A-13667311#lnk=sametab&preselect=11187117" target="_blank">Target</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's it lovelies. These are my tips and tricks for sunless tanning. I hope it helps a bit. Until next time, stay gorgeous!<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjisM94NDdbUuKfFBXKxy0-_iSZr6y-e-m48P5EVnmH8Sp2lJpXQmp_obuLMDCNIIvy4fjOJZjrEnTmx8bsG7sIEVzWj_AJXpqzlDQkil9zcN8m0toZC06OLzs17scD9DtD2Jtb2HIGYA/s1600/P1020553.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1455" data-original-width="1600" height="582" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjisM94NDdbUuKfFBXKxy0-_iSZr6y-e-m48P5EVnmH8Sp2lJpXQmp_obuLMDCNIIvy4fjOJZjrEnTmx8bsG7sIEVzWj_AJXpqzlDQkil9zcN8m0toZC06OLzs17scD9DtD2Jtb2HIGYA/s640/P1020553.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
This brand was unknown to me until my parents (They really know me well and have excellent taste in makeup) gave me a lip gloss kit (I will be reviewing them next week) and two nail polishes from this brand. They know I am a makeup junkie and they are always gifting me fun cool things for me to try. Smith and Cult was made by the creators of Hard Candy and it has their funky vibe to them. Everything about their products is unique!<br />
<br />
As you know, I have struggled for years to find a nail polish that lasts. I don't know why this happens to me, but every nail polish I try chips immediately. When I say fast, I mean hours after I've applied a polish I look down and there it is, a chip! The only manicure that lasts is salon gel nails, and even those last for about 7 days until I see a chip. I must be very rough with my hands in comparison with other people because this happens every single time I do my nails.....until NOW!<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_K5MaS4E8UKHZWwkMG5ikBXjggDWXB6GYShFh4QDonI58LpSz6rALCJ_b7cqifTzo3B8aNwZYZDl9MHm94NLcHnF-cXQCP6XMhvEIW1E4bLi7csh_pYexOe8Dn-09Lj7QG8hgFxj_BW0/s1600/P1020554.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1490" data-original-width="1600" height="594" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_K5MaS4E8UKHZWwkMG5ikBXjggDWXB6GYShFh4QDonI58LpSz6rALCJ_b7cqifTzo3B8aNwZYZDl9MHm94NLcHnF-cXQCP6XMhvEIW1E4bLi7csh_pYexOe8Dn-09Lj7QG8hgFxj_BW0/s640/P1020554.JPG" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><i><span style="color: #666666;">Smith and Cult base "Basis of Everything"</span></i></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
I got "Basis of Everything", which is a base coat, and "Exit the Void" which is a periwinkle blue. Can we take a second to talk about the names? I love when companies come up with cool names for their nail polishes, and I feel like they are quite clever not only on their naming, but the charming little story behind the name. If you go to their <a href="http://www.smithandcult.com/" target="_blank">website</a> (by the way, it is very funky and hip) on the description for the nail polish they provide you with a story for the shade. "Exit the Void" had this story: <i>"Ended up leaving the party tonight after 5 min b/c saw about 7 guys that could have easily been my next mistake."</i> How cool is that?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><i><span style="color: #666666;">Smith and Cult Color in the shade "Exit the Void"</span></i></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Now let's talk about the packaging. I absolutely LOVE the packaging. Each bottle is unique. The caps look like they have been bent or crushed. Each one different. The caps are golden and the bottles are heavy. I love it. Even if the product was absolute garbage I would still purchase it just because of it's packaging. You can remove the cap to expose a normal cap underneath so it is easier to apply the polish. How clever!<br />
<br />
The formula is really good. This nail polish lasted a whopping 5 days on me, and it chipped because I put a second coat of top coat on them because they were getting a bit dull and I wanted to make them shiny again. I am sure if I hadn't added any more coats it would have lasted at least a week. I have to say, this product IMPRESSED ME. I have looked everywhere for a nail polish/lacquer that would last for ages and Smith and Cult answered my prayers.<br />
<br />
The only con I could say is that this product is expensive. It is not your typical drugstore nail polish. You can purchase it on Smith and Cult Website for ($18) and I saw them on Amazon as well. But to be quite honest, it is worth EVERY PENNY. Clearly I didn't purchase this product, it was my parents, but I will definitely be buying more of these miracles in a bottle. <br />
<br />
<span style="color: #999999;"><i>***DISCLAIMER*** The opinions shown on this post are mine. I am not paid by Smith and Cult to review this product. The product was purchased by my parents and given to my as a birthday gift.</i></span><br />

Today I am going to be giving you my opinions on the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I know this is not a new product but it in new to me. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had run out of my ultimate favorite concealer, the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer and I had heard so much hype over social media about the Shape Tape concealer that I decided to give it a try. I am going to jump right in on the Pros and Cons of this product and at the end I will give my opinion of it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB0DdsT3l7NckXx38n1HNAKPFI7MEcCPB_LD4fyF6agpYXBWUS5tEJ_-dT_VmyIF65CeljAM4nnI2WV2qI4Pdq4-xplZlnU-XiicWjvNE-oK0klEYmx5BVlMnFQ35p6duQ937qtwdmB-M/s1600/P1020392.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB0DdsT3l7NckXx38n1HNAKPFI7MEcCPB_LD4fyF6agpYXBWUS5tEJ_-dT_VmyIF65CeljAM4nnI2WV2qI4Pdq4-xplZlnU-XiicWjvNE-oK0klEYmx5BVlMnFQ35p6duQ937qtwdmB-M/s640/P1020392.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<b>Pros</b></div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Incredible high coverage - this product will cover everything. When I mean everything, I mean EVERYTHING. I covered one of my tattoos with this product and you couldn't event tell where it was.</li>
<li>Long wearing - this concealer will wear all day long. At the end of the day my foundation gave up on me and this concealer was still going strong. </li>
<li>Very blendable - It is not hard to blend this concealer. Compared to the MAC Pro Longwear, which you have to blend right away or it is hard to move around, this concealer gives you a little bit of time to work it into your skin. Now, once is set, it is set forever!</li>
<li>Wand applicator - I cannot begin to describe how happy I was with this wand. It is big, but efficient, not like the pump of the Mac Pro Longwear, that wastes so much product.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Cons</b></div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li> Strong smell - I am not one that hates fragrance in makeup, but the scent of this concealer is a tad to much! I really cannot tell you what kind of smell it is, only that it is pretty powerful and floral. I will say, you can smell it while you are applying it, but the scent goes away after you are done blending. </li>
<li>Shade selection - I have to be clear and explain myself with this one. The shape tape has a good shade selection, 14 shades to choose from. My complaint is that compared to other brands their shades are not the same. I am usually porcelain (the lightest shade available, one step above drown victim white) in every single foundation and concealer shade, so I bought the lightest shade they have with a pink undertone which is "Fair". Let me tell you... this shade was WAY to fair on me!?!?!?! Seriously? I am pale, but this was super pale. I guess what I'm trying to say is, go to the actual store and try it on before you purchase it. I bought it off their website so I didn't know it was so light. </li>
<li>Only available at ULTA </li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, what's my verdict? I like this product. I feel like it is very easy to blend. I don't feel like I have to set it, since it really stays in place all day long. It sits on the skin way better than the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, with the added bonus that it doesn't have that ridiculous pump that spits product all over the place. It will not look caked if you blend it with a beauty sponge. I will definitely be repurchasing this concealer, probably a shade darker...for sure. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's it for today. Until next time, stay gorgeous!</div>
Mrs Frances Mariehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08550397070537663171noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7890409393495702396.post-15699824219589416922017-04-08T14:15:00.000-04:002017-04-08T14:15:14.514-04:00BEAUTY: MORPHE 35R REVIEW<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I am going to be reviewing the new Morphe 35R eye palette. I was watching Jaclyn Hill on her recent video called "Bronze Gold Smokey Eye" and she mentioned this eye shadow palette. I immediately knew I needed to get my hands on it. The colors looked very nice and golden and I just fell in love with it. As all of Morphe Eyeshadow Pro Makeup Palettes, they retail for $22.99 and they all have...duh, 35 colors in them. The palette has 15 shimmer shades, 18 matte shades and 2 satin shades. All of them are highly pigmented.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7xOhCpJ-lA3zUhJLYpr2jpOKVQuJiSd6ClLB0EomIjAYU_62vG3n5BF6nZPRO4pWTGoAqDD8AmOqwQNqrA-KqQUyRdwhAgccwIeQsTF9ssV3sva5A9yipyNk_WKBdbBPOr1JO4GPe_p0/s1600/P1020490.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7xOhCpJ-lA3zUhJLYpr2jpOKVQuJiSd6ClLB0EomIjAYU_62vG3n5BF6nZPRO4pWTGoAqDD8AmOqwQNqrA-KqQUyRdwhAgccwIeQsTF9ssV3sva5A9yipyNk_WKBdbBPOr1JO4GPe_p0/s640/P1020490.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Like with all Morphe Products, I was not disappointed with this palette! It is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are highly pigmented and blend out very nicely. They do have some fallout, but to be honest, I always do my eyes first, so if I have some fallout I just wipe it clean before I do my foundation. If you prefer to do your face makeup first, you can always "bake" your under eye area with some translucent powder and then do your eyes. Once you are done you can just dust off the powder and it will take any fallout you had with it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI9WvsUPVSLaMguWaOUWMPbS67aRKlQUcKJ8wfil0S1O2xiuP05aqkCTEitxBd287ZdC-f1ylLGbZYjRtN0Nl_4IeDfBd9O0eX8NAGJkFTzhhJc4Q7x9X63_Nh7L9-nz97ZLVtGMNkNio/s1600/P1020486.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI9WvsUPVSLaMguWaOUWMPbS67aRKlQUcKJ8wfil0S1O2xiuP05aqkCTEitxBd287ZdC-f1ylLGbZYjRtN0Nl_4IeDfBd9O0eX8NAGJkFTzhhJc4Q7x9X63_Nh7L9-nz97ZLVtGMNkNio/s640/P1020486.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone that is a beginner in makeup, and non beginners too. I am always working on a budget and if you break it down to cost per eye shadow it is $0.66 per eye shadow. Compare that with Anastasia Beverly Hills Singles ($12), Makeup Geek ($10 for foiled, $6 for regular), or MAC Singles ($6), and these are a really good, very high quality alternative. It is also important to notice, with every new release they come up with, their eye shadows get better, and it seems like they do listen to what people ask and their interests. The only con I would list with Morphe in general is that shipping is a lot. I would suggest waiting for some a free shipping sale if you are not purchasing more that $100.00 worth of products. They do offer free shipping on orders of $100 or more. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Long time no bloggie! I know I have been MIA for a really long time. Last time I blogged it was in December!!! So, first of all HAPPY NEW YEAR (4 months later!).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
What a crazy year 2017 has been! Life has been a roller coaster these past couple of months. I have been focusing all my energy in preparing my beauty room and makeup studio. Working on many reviews for this new year and most importantly, preparing my YouTube Channel. I have already started filming and testing my camera equipment, lighting, background and audio. Hopefully the channel will be up and running in the next couple of weeks. I will definitely keep you guys updated with what I am doing and when will I go live on YT. Thank you for your patience and support! :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyways, that's it for now. Starting this week you will see more blog posts from me. I am not ready to commit to a settled schedule of posts like I was last year, but I promise I will post more regularly! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Until next time, stay fabulous! </div>

Hello lovelies! Hope you are doing well. The other day I went to ULTA (which I have to mention is never a good idea for me, since I have zero self control when it comes to purchasing makeup) and got the Urban Decay Moondust Palette. I had my eyes on it for a while so I decided to finally get it. I have a few festive makeup looks I want to do for December so this palette is perfect for those shimmery looks. If you want to see some of them you should definitely follow me on Instagram @mrsfrancesmarie (You can access my IG through this website too). I have to say, I am really loving this palette!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEf1xGzufNIQVnw5Gyxfd9Yeu_c37Kxy2b2-389Rs2y7P52msXl18BEvpNhfhEk67ocaQSZTJivkJBAsaE1wDTnhu8Y_6579TpE5F8xtQYopxvV9gnzE_mipBieP6vtTiQrLspad1q5Vw/s1600/IMG_1370.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="440" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEf1xGzufNIQVnw5Gyxfd9Yeu_c37Kxy2b2-389Rs2y7P52msXl18BEvpNhfhEk67ocaQSZTJivkJBAsaE1wDTnhu8Y_6579TpE5F8xtQYopxvV9gnzE_mipBieP6vtTiQrLspad1q5Vw/s640/IMG_1370.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First of all, can we talk about how absolutely gorgeous the packaging is?! I have to admit, part of me picked this palette because it is so stinking beautiful! Black/Silver glitter? Do I need to say more? Also, the magnetic packaging is a great touch. I love when companies do this. First of all, it makes it feel so much more luxurious, and secondly, it will always stay close, even if it is in a makeup bag (not that I would put this beauty in a bag).</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Like always, Urban Decay never fails to disappoint on the quality of their eye shadows. They are so pigmented and they blend beautifully! They almost feel like foiled eye shadows. These apply best with your fingertips or with a wet brush. I have all of the Urban Decay palettes and the pigmentation on these is by far the best. Not only that, even when I washed the swatches with soap, I needed makeup remover which is a great sign. These will last and will not fade on your eyelids during the day. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The palette has eight (8) shades: Specter (soft pink with almost translucent shimmers), Element (peach with pink sparkles), Magnetic (purple with blue sparkles), Lightyear (green with green sparkles), Granite (black with multi color sparkles), Lithium (brown with gold/rose gold sparkles), Vega (Blue with blue sparkles) and Galaxy (blue gray with translucent sparkles)</div>

Another October Monday, another Halloween makeup! I have to say, I am really enjoying doing these looks! So, on Sunday I played with this look and I have to say I was quite happy with how it turned. I will admit, the lines under the eyes were so hard to do, and basically I can't smile or they will look bent. If you know me, you will know it is impossible for me not to smile when taking a picture so that is why they look a bit crooked but hey, whatever, I liked it and that's all that matters. What other makeups have you guys been doing or planing on doing for Halloween. Leave a comment below! I hope you enjoy this look and until next time, stay gorgeous!</div>

I have to say, I have been so busy with so many other things that it was simply impossible for me to squeeze in some time to write and blog. I would rather always give you quality content instead of just posting stuff that is sub-par to what I always give you. I hope you understand. Sometimes family is more important and I needed to focus my energy on my house, husband and baby. Anyways, no more excuses. I am back and I will try my best to post once a week from now on.<br />
<br />
So, it is OCTOBER!!! I am so excited about it. It is by far my favorite month because I always manage to play with makeup a lot and really the sky is the limit on what you can do. I will post every week a new Halloween themed makeup for you guys. I will list the products I used down below as well. If you want to see an actual tutorial, let me know and I will make it happen. Until next week! Like always, stay gorgeous!<br />

I have already raved about this product but I have to mention in again. I have been loving this foundation and for a good reason. This is the perfect foundation for the summer because it is very light and dewy. It never looks caked and you can build it up to a medium coverage. Because it is summer I have been reaching out for these two brushes a lot. The bhcosmetics 125 brush I have been using for applying concealer and for setting it as well. I have also used it to apply a bit of highlighter and blush. The Crown brush I have been using to lightly dust face powder and for lightly contouring my cheekbones. Both makeup brushes are super soft and fluffy. The last thing you want to do in summer and with such a hot weather is packing on makeup, and that is why these two brushes have been amazing for a couple of months. I keep both of them on my makeup bag.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I was feeling festive today so I decided to make some yummy cupcakes. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgukdHzXzrQSc8dICKV5Npu99byJR7qomXlz8pzLPgRCWcAizh1O3nmIoNoA3xHaAf5E86Bq15xlrLpEvmcS95lwQAnE76XawUlkPNqU0PSEDP4-Y3bNswi1slPnGAPmfFPqAo5TqIVsw8/s1600/IMG_0962.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgukdHzXzrQSc8dICKV5Npu99byJR7qomXlz8pzLPgRCWcAizh1O3nmIoNoA3xHaAf5E86Bq15xlrLpEvmcS95lwQAnE76XawUlkPNqU0PSEDP4-Y3bNswi1slPnGAPmfFPqAo5TqIVsw8/s640/IMG_0962.jpg" width="496" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These were delicious! I have to confess, I did cheat a bit and made a box red velvet cupcake, but in my defense, my son was being a total energetic young boy so I had to take a shortcut. BUT, the buttercream is ALL MINE!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Ingredients: </b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
4 cups of sifted powdered sugar</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2 tbsp milk</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1 tsp vanilla extract</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2 sticks butter, softened.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Directions:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On a stand up mixer beat softened butter until light in color and creamy. Add 2 cups of sifted powder sugar and beat on low until all sugar is incorporated or you will end up with a sugar dust cloud. Add the milk and beat on medium high for 2 minutes. Add the rest of the sugar and the vanilla extract on low until incorporated, then on medium high for 2 - 3 minutes. Mixture should be light and fluffy. Voila! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR_pPkFwLVuJNG0zTjFA6M3fx4viLCe3vl7tVuB3gC3SWLJQTblO7tjeGjJcikK4YTs3poNFXd8HIdlsARyTlEO5ltTXK4FY-Uf6FmG7YfmPv-pQFfckl5u47ISiTGlgJkC2nJtWeIvNs/s1600/IMG_0964.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR_pPkFwLVuJNG0zTjFA6M3fx4viLCe3vl7tVuB3gC3SWLJQTblO7tjeGjJcikK4YTs3poNFXd8HIdlsARyTlEO5ltTXK4FY-Uf6FmG7YfmPv-pQFfckl5u47ISiTGlgJkC2nJtWeIvNs/s640/IMG_0964.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the blue and red stripes effect, paint a line of red gel color on one side of your piping bag and a line of blue gel color on the opposite side. Then fill your piping bag as usual with buttercream. I used a large star tip to frost my cupcakes. As a little added bonus I found Star-Spangled Sprinkles at HomeGoods and I added a few to each cupcake. </div>

Today I am reviewing the new Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for waterproof makeup. I have been cursed with very watery eyes and because of that I tend to use waterproof mascara, which if you have ever used this type of mascara, takes forever and a day to remove. So many eyelashes have been lost due to the constant washing and rubbing to get all the product off. I am the last person to jump on the bandwagon of micellar water, so I decided to start with Garnier's.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdKqLaUIs1Ddl17pHXptlecqu600yN9iEIzGDI0LCZV_8rJAoRm7crWzaaiLMxlN96zjwkmNj4hDraE7vAdqgDWfK7a0pEVKX_uzbu49vMXj_YldRmUTPLTQchfoA_6BsiNQXYnamzjlo/s1600/IMG_0871.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdKqLaUIs1Ddl17pHXptlecqu600yN9iEIzGDI0LCZV_8rJAoRm7crWzaaiLMxlN96zjwkmNj4hDraE7vAdqgDWfK7a0pEVKX_uzbu49vMXj_YldRmUTPLTQchfoA_6BsiNQXYnamzjlo/s640/IMG_0871.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've heard mixed reviews about this product in particular so I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, I did not like this product at all! I will elaborate more about the reason why I do not like it but I will give you the pros first.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pros - It has no smell. I actually like face products to be fragrance free because I have very sensitive skin and most of the time the perfumes used on many skincare products can irritate my skin. This for me was a huge plus as soon as I opened the bottle. Next thing on my pros list is that it actually removes all makeup, matte liquid lipstick? No problem. Waterproof mascara? I got you girl. It really does remove ALL makeup.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cons - Holy guacamole this thing STINGS your eyes. Not only your eyeball but if you have very sensitive skin around your eyes it will also irritate that area. After I used it my eyes and the skin around it was red and irritated. After burning my eyeballs out I decided to look at the bottle again, and this is where the irony is. If you see the picture above it clearly states: "No rinse, no harsh rubbing Face, Lips, <u><b>EYES</b></u>". Now if you turn the bottle and read the back label (picture below) you will find the following warning : <span style="color: red;"><i>"Avoid getting in eyes"</i>.</span> Are you kidding me?!?! This claims to be an EYE MAKEUP remover but you have to avoid the eyes. It is not like I was trying to remove my eye makeup with my eyes open. They were closed, but it is inevitable to apply a water cleanser on your eyes and not have some liquid get on your eyeball. Seriously! This is the most deceiving product out there! They should remove the "for EYES" part from the label. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkv8K9b4FlTVvSNTF7UZy7vwCtlsOJNJDtgLmxlZfvP3qQFmOOwpcYm8ifFQA6oJJK_AcnSjWLo5HcGBfZENqRvitOk2WWyBlj0y5odg7V1ADdKd7Fmj09rK8MdDvPt3qwZQZCbBX4lLU/s1600/IMG_0876.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkv8K9b4FlTVvSNTF7UZy7vwCtlsOJNJDtgLmxlZfvP3qQFmOOwpcYm8ifFQA6oJJK_AcnSjWLo5HcGBfZENqRvitOk2WWyBlj0y5odg7V1ADdKd7Fmj09rK8MdDvPt3qwZQZCbBX4lLU/s640/IMG_0876.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So in my opinion, skip this product! It burns your eyes. Oh Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, I had such high hopes for you and you've let me down!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hope this was useful, until my next review, stay gorgeous.</div>

This was today's makeup. Super glam, but so simple to do. I kept the face makeup simple. No contour, just highlight on my cheekbones, tip of the nose and cupid's bow. Kept eyebrows pretty natural. For the bold lips, I used ColourPop's Lippie Stix in the shade Wifey (satin finish). I used Maybeline Lasting Drama Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner in the shade Blackest Black for the wing. I also used false lashes, these are Ardel's 110 Black Lashes. </div>

A new month and a new Ipsy bag. Every month I keep getting more and more disappointed with Ipsy bag! I follow them on Snapchat and they are always searching and trying a bunch of cool amazing products but what they actually send is just blah! I will be canceling my subscription soon, not next month because I am redeeming all the points I have but maybe after that. I think I will transition to FabFitFun now. I will keep you posted. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is what I got this month:</div>

The products I got, although hit every category (skin, makeup, skincare and nails) the products themselves were not the best. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
This bag is very cute. One thing that I do not like is that they keep sending the same type of bag with different artwork. I have like 5 bags with this type of front zipper. Maybe it is time to change the design of the bag itself. Anyways, the theme of this bag is Rebel Rebel. </div>

I was not impressed at all by this blush. Pigmentation is ok, not super pigmented though, color pretty, but to be quite honest, they claim this blush works for every skin tone and that is not true. I have very fair skin and this color looks odd on my skin. I will be using it as an eye shadow though. <div style="text-align: center;">
I have received this nail polish before on an Ipsy Bag. The pros of this color, very rich color so you can get away with one layer (which is good if your nails tend to chip really quick). Color selections are amazing, and it dries very fast (if you are a mom, you appreciate this). The cons- my nails chipped the very first day I applied it. :( This product retails for $10.50 and you can purchase it <a href="http://www.sephora.com/the-colors-nail-polish-P382111?keyword=formula%20x%20wingwoman&skuId=1772532&_requestid=116434" target="_blank">here</a>. </div>

Ok, this is the worst product EVER!! I really just tossed this in the garbage. It is basically an oil. It is too oily for anything they claim it does. No smell and just bad! For lip gloss - too oily. Tame brows- too oily (brow product will rub off), cheeks - too oily, makes foundation run. Cuticles - too oily, you will want to wash your hands immediately. Dark circles - wth? Really, not good at all. This product retails for $16.00 and you can purchase it <a href="http://cakebeauty.com/products/natural-multi-purpose-beauty-balm-cream-delectable?variant=17859591748" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>

Have you ever found a nail polish you apply and it is just perfect. Does not chip and lasts around a week? No? Me neither! </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioKn-_p3vny70rySY3hFbJWjn_WUQcCn-xury_rSG5yHu3RQ44-fOWM8DNaZZnbwjXq377ZDHv99Xla0T4TW6b2t9NSZ2XBQvFCumSpEwAriY0QV5j6zGeUEZMykZ5YTV2svQB7IG8Cdk/s1600/P1010030.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioKn-_p3vny70rySY3hFbJWjn_WUQcCn-xury_rSG5yHu3RQ44-fOWM8DNaZZnbwjXq377ZDHv99Xla0T4TW6b2t9NSZ2XBQvFCumSpEwAriY0QV5j6zGeUEZMykZ5YTV2svQB7IG8Cdk/s640/P1010030.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For about about 15 years now I have searched planet earth for the nail polish that does not chip on my nails. It doesn't exist. We have sent people to the moon, but we cannot figure out how to make nail polish stay!! I struggle with every nail polish I own, they never stay long enough. A couple hours later, boom, there is a chip! I don't know what it is, but it is nearly impossible for me to keep a manicure looking good for more than a day. This nail polish is the closest I've come to something somewhat descent. It lasts on my nails about 3 days. After that it chips and it's the end of everything that is beautiful, but at least is something? Right? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The color is called "I'm kind of a big deal" and it's a very pretty pink. It is not barbie pink but more of a dusty rose. The formula is pretty nice. Very pigmented, you can almost get away with one layer. It is pretty opaque and it does not streak. Dries pretty fast and stays shiny for a couple of days. Like I said before, on me, it chips around day 3. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP9QWDlOKDPUqdhWYDwXISnEPbZZuaOhNWx6isx6ASvMZb9of64XtpuuS-Fez_GYMIy-NHtXvE7uRUtSvSezppXPVPH3_xAYhEOUn-d4kmK8in6vGKh7rD6Wwwx_uC5bQmbHut14sWXb0/s1600/P1010017.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP9QWDlOKDPUqdhWYDwXISnEPbZZuaOhNWx6isx6ASvMZb9of64XtpuuS-Fez_GYMIy-NHtXvE7uRUtSvSezppXPVPH3_xAYhEOUn-d4kmK8in6vGKh7rD6Wwwx_uC5bQmbHut14sWXb0/s640/P1010017.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This is how it looks the day of application. Don't mind my stubby nails. Breastfeeding made my nails incredibly brittle. </td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I got this one on February's Ipsy bag, and I really like it. I also have a purple and they have become my favorite nail polishes. It retails for $15.00 which is pretty expensive for a nail polish, but because it is the best I've found I would say it is worth it. You can buy it <a href="http://trustfundbeauty.com/collections/nails/products/i-m-kind-of-a-big-deal" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What's your favorite nail polish? I hope you find this useful, if you, like me, struggle with nail polish chipping right away!</div>

I had to share these cute outfits I got for my son at Carter's two weeks ago. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIctQwBi-Bd1Xf0BvC-sAYmEXoGxINInpCptO1pTD9PWhkxlpjE5Low5Dv-_b5S0Sc0i6hJ2m2AZMhoKNSi88ph-YjjwiQCF-3EHyGxpiw-q8e6Jmw2IG8kZ4jgRZwg1pCohf9ptzX2Bk/s1600/P1000720.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="403" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIctQwBi-Bd1Xf0BvC-sAYmEXoGxINInpCptO1pTD9PWhkxlpjE5Low5Dv-_b5S0Sc0i6hJ2m2AZMhoKNSi88ph-YjjwiQCF-3EHyGxpiw-q8e6Jmw2IG8kZ4jgRZwg1pCohf9ptzX2Bk/s640/P1000720.jpg" width="640" /></a> The main reason I went shopping was because I was in desperate need of some pajamas for my son. How cute are these. They are footsie pajamas with silicone grips on the bottom so babies can have more grip when they walk. We call our son "monkey" so I had to buy monkey pajamas!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihipqt-4TJpNYwp89ulNWkD6X7PLEJgRnowZki7vQuCg8P5ZZ8Zk0T6Sfe-84XRi8uuTmZN3wtKcquFPfNWAoHpS-KqkIXUgFiuSQA9BtEQWOvvKfVBljcEMdOebK1Ph4PfTLsD-XcB-Q/s1600/P1000722.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihipqt-4TJpNYwp89ulNWkD6X7PLEJgRnowZki7vQuCg8P5ZZ8Zk0T6Sfe-84XRi8uuTmZN3wtKcquFPfNWAoHpS-KqkIXUgFiuSQA9BtEQWOvvKfVBljcEMdOebK1Ph4PfTLsD-XcB-Q/s640/P1000722.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
How cute is this little octopus?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq8_sQE3bddQ1FFBBqi6jj4ClNN1AunK02zGshf8rladm-pb0qJ9J-GyUHD-3bPDoHg9lzfsfI-GxSZcCvjtu7vPyvyZL5C5seaFTI_WrYT16eWdJMDrxa5c26b4EztRzVqMF5skfXvcs/s1600/P1000715.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="332" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq8_sQE3bddQ1FFBBqi6jj4ClNN1AunK02zGshf8rladm-pb0qJ9J-GyUHD-3bPDoHg9lzfsfI-GxSZcCvjtu7vPyvyZL5C5seaFTI_WrYT16eWdJMDrxa5c26b4EztRzVqMF5skfXvcs/s640/P1000715.jpg" width="640" /> </a> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As my son gets older, it is getting harder to find footsie pajamas that do not have buttons, since my husband struggles every single time with them, so we like the zipper ones. Because it was so hard to find more zipper pajamas I got him big boy pajamas. Meaning it was a shirt and pant set. He looks so incredibly cute on these! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihowFGr5Zs01ACV_S-cmv77Ppb9d6Fkwj2aqooazQN3SEf7ulZLEnf_zvbHftc_5bN0MfJMUGIccQJJw2kA4OhkL8jL0xIKt6QspkyyxFWyFc4FUj5U-N0GXYxAdIvllq5ddaA3qY4oKM/s1600/P1000717.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="344" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihowFGr5Zs01ACV_S-cmv77Ppb9d6Fkwj2aqooazQN3SEf7ulZLEnf_zvbHftc_5bN0MfJMUGIccQJJw2kA4OhkL8jL0xIKt6QspkyyxFWyFc4FUj5U-N0GXYxAdIvllq5ddaA3qY4oKM/s640/P1000717.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the summer I though two rompers would be great to add to his collection. Again, monkey themed and I didn't realize until I was writing this blog that the blue romper is very similar to the dump truck set I got him for his 9 month old <a href="http://www.mrsfrancesmarie.com/2016/03/mommy-blog-carters-haul-boy.html" target="_blank">haul</a>. Still love it so much! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1uZMxcATuqaT-FL-34-yuM3Dc4hj4x89oB39WMfPkZtlKIV3aXYrn8qBxNubGHqTzJjITAfN8Xj0iNW9kP7GbX4PTfvJ45T8BPB5xbeBcuUEdV_bhlSteVTLEBh4s4PkH8Ftd93aj2mw/s1600/P1000723.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="458" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1uZMxcATuqaT-FL-34-yuM3Dc4hj4x89oB39WMfPkZtlKIV3aXYrn8qBxNubGHqTzJjITAfN8Xj0iNW9kP7GbX4PTfvJ45T8BPB5xbeBcuUEdV_bhlSteVTLEBh4s4PkH8Ftd93aj2mw/s640/P1000723.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love this outfit! The chameleon and cargo pants look so cute on my son. He looks like a big boy. It is such a funky style and I feel like black really suits him. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD8CtlnwMi4Rn1yhrkmVeDXqXey8wzYHAP272-BS0JdwFQdMvSLj0GjA7Q4tOG3S0x7Rh5RZZCJprS3fi5TygzF77gFa5xU6-RqrbTLgFESB0YzxiiZAlDS2oQDHk7Eb5kY1Yd24OlBx8/s1600/P1000724.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD8CtlnwMi4Rn1yhrkmVeDXqXey8wzYHAP272-BS0JdwFQdMvSLj0GjA7Q4tOG3S0x7Rh5RZZCJprS3fi5TygzF77gFa5xU6-RqrbTLgFESB0YzxiiZAlDS2oQDHk7Eb5kY1Yd24OlBx8/s640/P1000724.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also got him the blue stripped shorts and a set of shorts and polo. With the weather starting to get so hot, these would be great for going out but keeping him cool! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Again, Carter's is always running all kinds of promotions and sales, so you will always find great deals there. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i><span style="color: #999999;">*Disclaimer- I bought everything on this haul. It is not a sponsored post and I do not get paid by anybody to talk nicely or badly about a brand or store. These are my opinions about things I buy for me and my family.</span></i></div>

I have been blessed with an extremely picky eater. What does that mean? I have to find very creative ways to hide foods my son will not eat with very flavorful foods that he loves. This is why I love this recipe. It is so good, I would eat it. The best thing, my son loves this baby food. I make this baby food puree every week because I use it to hide these foods: peas, spinach, cottage cheese and cauliflower. Now, let's just say I wouldn't mix this with those foods for myself, but for some reason, my son will eat those foods if they are drowned by this puree. I am currently trying to mask chicken with this...unsuccessfully... but I am thinking I might cook the chicken on pear glaze and see if he might eat it. I will let you know. Anyways, here is the recipe. I hope you (or your little one) enjoys it! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgadk-n00hJQRIffNPwrtNG5S5bqotYWjVpE7DFgMcV1JWZ4WYB7JW04OcckrniqjS0DPzjKCUTSti-P7ioYKmBOgUXsl0jvkpMVJI2ZqN7_ovJOem3-CteZtkOpc7zJY-5vORTc-nPMY4/s1600/P1000804.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgadk-n00hJQRIffNPwrtNG5S5bqotYWjVpE7DFgMcV1JWZ4WYB7JW04OcckrniqjS0DPzjKCUTSti-P7ioYKmBOgUXsl0jvkpMVJI2ZqN7_ovJOem3-CteZtkOpc7zJY-5vORTc-nPMY4/s640/P1000804.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Ingredients:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
4 pears</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1/8 ground cloves</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Diretions:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Peel and core the pears. I use very ripe pears, since they are the sweetest. Cut pears in 1 in cubes. On a deep pot put pears and fill with about 1 inch of water. Boil them on medium high heat until they are tender and clear. Let them cool completely. Once completely cooled, add ground cloves and puree them to the desired consistency. You can freeze the puree on ice cube trays and keep frozen for about 3 months. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjgv_WaqN4Z7XM7tuKSUSGv9KhcTacH8-PR7rMhV-7hnioivPJ0m7Q7W5NzNUtlpz7OH1JcTwV_T2ezhIEj9nUeLeCiIbHoYtC1xm1eeXTsl-4_nxI639NoVeyK0Yq0pZ50nDdFp5I6nc/s1600/P1000812.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="510" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjgv_WaqN4Z7XM7tuKSUSGv9KhcTacH8-PR7rMhV-7hnioivPJ0m7Q7W5NzNUtlpz7OH1JcTwV_T2ezhIEj9nUeLeCiIbHoYtC1xm1eeXTsl-4_nxI639NoVeyK0Yq0pZ50nDdFp5I6nc/s640/P1000812.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #999999;"><i>*You can use a food processor for the puree. I use my KitchenAid Fruit and Vegetable Strainer since it makes a chunkier baby food. My son is 10 months old so he likes very chunky purees. It also helps with masking chunkier foods. </i></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<span style="color: #999999;"><span style="color: black;">I found this recipe on </span></span><span style="font-weight: normal;"><span class="a-size-large" id="productTitle">"Little Foodie: Baby Food Recipes for Babies and Toddlers with Taste" recipe book but updated the amount of ground cloves since it was too much in my opinion. On Tuesday I went to the Bath and Body Works store near my house because they were running their Semi-Annual Sale which is always my chance to go crazy and buy some amazing candles and scents for my house. Here is what I got: </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghHVfPq_SWRBAevhGAJxLrjWzYwNBUBPA91zlVZUdQByjcHkpmuNfvLPza8CzB4LLFQv4VOaZB4ufLKQ_6NbVEdskgXNolcKXFhO6gaV0NJP0E8OnamfKdiIdMWhWP_KZABeh1q8skjK4/s1600/P1000814.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="390" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghHVfPq_SWRBAevhGAJxLrjWzYwNBUBPA91zlVZUdQByjcHkpmuNfvLPza8CzB4LLFQv4VOaZB4ufLKQ_6NbVEdskgXNolcKXFhO6gaV0NJP0E8OnamfKdiIdMWhWP_KZABeh1q8skjK4/s640/P1000814.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am so excited to show you what I got this time. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lets start with the Three Wick Candles:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQzWFLB3K2oBfhK-qmmy1Dbr9GyYs1MTg1R1wAghevcETtlJLwAJzzE1jouk_IeZrSDBRaXXons08lO4yCtXAe2ISk70PrzejEJS-RczNhPT7bPmUkPGeiyroxFILnoKvqBwm3_D4z8dw/s1600/P1000821.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="504" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQzWFLB3K2oBfhK-qmmy1Dbr9GyYs1MTg1R1wAghevcETtlJLwAJzzE1jouk_IeZrSDBRaXXons08lO4yCtXAe2ISk70PrzejEJS-RczNhPT7bPmUkPGeiyroxFILnoKvqBwm3_D4z8dw/s640/P1000821.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is one of my favorite candles this year. I bought 5 before Easter and was super happy when I saw it in the sale bin for 50% off! It says it smells like cotton candy and marshmallow, but to be honest it smells just like marshmallow. It is like having a bonfire at home and roasting marshmallows. I LOVE THIS SMELL. In the winter there is a similar candle and last year it was called Marshmallow Fireside. It smells exactly like that candle. Bath and Body Works marshmallow candles are by far the best ones if you like sweet smells like I do. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

This is my favorite candle of all time from Bath and Body Works and probably any other brand of candles. One thing to know, they change the names of the candles constantly but the scent is usually pretty similar. I got this candle, which smells pretty much like Italy Espresso Cafe candle from their "World Cities" collection. I love to burn this candle and the Happy Easter candles together...hello Coffee and Marshmallow...who doesn't like that combo? Best thing, even my husband loves this candle. He says it smells like a coffee stout beer to him. Any candle that smells like stout to my husband is welcomed in my home, lol! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOHL-oXmg9baskVEvVEF5ehrRgiMakcPLHKYL6gKqQ6P0vglgJl4ULJjpBW1ypnTuWZgAGvjNBAz5NZSMnWn7xKiSaaRbHYb5l7Xk3kYO8Yu2s-q_yY4inYUVafHm-ZTsYlWQ1rmrvVKM/s1600/P1000826.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="488" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOHL-oXmg9baskVEvVEF5ehrRgiMakcPLHKYL6gKqQ6P0vglgJl4ULJjpBW1ypnTuWZgAGvjNBAz5NZSMnWn7xKiSaaRbHYb5l7Xk3kYO8Yu2s-q_yY4inYUVafHm-ZTsYlWQ1rmrvVKM/s640/P1000826.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This candle is a new one for me. When I went into the store, it was the first one that grabbed my attention, and I have to say, I love it. First thing that comes to my mind when I smell it is vacation. More specifically, our honeymoon. We went to Key West, where we consumed insane amounts of piƱa coladas and coconut flavored drinks. This candle smells like that. It smells like coconuts and even though it doesn't say it has hints of it, I can smell pineapples. Its is fruity and oh so sweet. You know those smells that you can almost taste them, this candle does that. I feel like I could take a bite of it and it would taste like coconuts (PLEASE DON'T EAT CANDLES). </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also purchased a couple of wall flowers, some where on clearance and bought them for $3.00 and others full price. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNQ1BlMpKocoEL0G0mJ2kYPPpuuetAbMNw_Jn2KqRXJXW_xJdOiyA8kpa7UodjcLjS_791g_rS2WvL7KwshzeqmaC8bO_lqpFbRobKaw-f5cHd7BVLCd8RD3Bd60ggNSY_6mt7y6ijZ2U/s1600/P1000819.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNQ1BlMpKocoEL0G0mJ2kYPPpuuetAbMNw_Jn2KqRXJXW_xJdOiyA8kpa7UodjcLjS_791g_rS2WvL7KwshzeqmaC8bO_lqpFbRobKaw-f5cHd7BVLCd8RD3Bd60ggNSY_6mt7y6ijZ2U/s640/P1000819.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
These fragrances are so, so good. One I always repurchase is Cinnamon Stick. It smells like a cinnamon stick for sure. It is the definition of a fall scent for me and I always have this smell the second I see a yellow leaf, so this one will be used in the fall. The other three fragrances, I've never purchased. Coconut Sandalwood is to die for, and to tell you the truth it smells like a sexy, Hawaiian man. It is the best description I can give you. Sandalwood scents I always have on my bathrooms, I don't know why but I just love to get in the shower and smell it. Like I said, sexy man smell goes with shower and bathrooms in my opinion (maybe because my husband's body wash smells like sandalwood I associate it with showers). Indigo Sky smells like fresh linen and clean sheets. It is such a great scent to have year long. I always keep this type of fragrances on my bedroom since I associate them with freshly, soft sheets! Lastly Sunny Coconut is a very fruity sweet smell. I can't smell the coconut that much but I can smell some type of citrus fruit. It also smells like the beach and vacation time... I think I will have this scent on my living room. Maybe it will transport me to a beach villa somewhere sunny when my son is having a meltdown, haha, the life of a stay at home mom. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now for the body products:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAu4cbKuYVEKa0YIEJvQBuzf95K9U91KgE0ngLOxCakt4Ng3ayvQIQM-PbZ6L6v8qRfbJaEra9mfyyUpsOxZVHan_O_LAMu4maUgaTq24ow0HiLoCnyaUQELFUrUCHXDPxMmbBFYCcItw/s1600/P1000827.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAu4cbKuYVEKa0YIEJvQBuzf95K9U91KgE0ngLOxCakt4Ng3ayvQIQM-PbZ6L6v8qRfbJaEra9mfyyUpsOxZVHan_O_LAMu4maUgaTq24ow0HiLoCnyaUQELFUrUCHXDPxMmbBFYCcItw/s640/P1000827.jpg" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love, love, love Bath and Body Works shea body creams. I have them all over my house and they go fast. I have travel size ones that go in my diaper bag, in my car and in my purse. This smell is the same as one of the candles I bought and I love it. It is very similar to Tahiti Island Dream but with coconut in it. This will be my favorite smell for summer for sure! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKwCXXd31q2ig-yqX8f1f6RhcwEPx7UO7JRMyNMOA6kFp4yYKU5cVMKxD8ngNo0wJ3TR0CeNhsFbrxC_8av2NNn_p0nTvzvVJ1lVPcsEMJveuMmVj0W2CZnVBeKSAR8AVLuhkXZ5xjLhU/s1600/P1000830.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKwCXXd31q2ig-yqX8f1f6RhcwEPx7UO7JRMyNMOA6kFp4yYKU5cVMKxD8ngNo0wJ3TR0CeNhsFbrxC_8av2NNn_p0nTvzvVJ1lVPcsEMJveuMmVj0W2CZnVBeKSAR8AVLuhkXZ5xjLhU/s640/P1000830.jpg" width="426" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally this body wash. I have never bought a body wash from Bath and Body Works so this will be my first experience. I haven't tried it yet, but from the smell I am looking forward to it. It really smells super flowery, fresh and clean. I really hope it foams well, since I love lots of bubbles when I lather. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let me know which are your favorite Bath and Body Works products!!! I love to try knew scents! </div>

I have always LOVED smoothies but never managed to make a smoothie that I liked enough to 1. share it with the world and 2. drink it more that just two or three times. But last week I made this smoothie and it was so delicious and simple. I feel like I have to share this little drip of heaven. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
It literally takes 2 minutes to make this delicious concoction and seconds to devour it. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Ingredients:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1 cup of your choice of frozen berries<span style="color: #999999;">*</span> (I used a Mixed Berry Blend that </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
had blueberries, dark sweet cherries, </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
blackberries and red raspberries)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1/2 cup vanilla fat free yogurt</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1 tsp vanilla extract</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1/2 cup fat free milk</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1 tsp truvia<span style="color: #999999;">* </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<i><span style="color: #999999;"> *because frozen berries sometimes can be picked and frozen before they are ripe they tend to be a bit sour. If you prefer to use fresh berries, and you know they are sweet enough then the sugar is not needed. Because I am lazy I use the frozen fruit and just add a bit of sweetener. If you use fresh berries, then add a couple of ice cubes to thicken the smoothie.</span></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Instructions:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Add everything to a blender and voila! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Drink your delicious smoothie.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Hi everyone! Wow, it has been a hot second since I blogged last! What a crazy couple of weeks I've had! Let me tell you, when you are a SAHM and your washer breaks, it is the end of the world! I feel like my whole schedule was thrown off because of this! So I apologize for not posting for a while, now that things are getting back to normal, I will be posting more content. Please leave me a comment below of things you wish I talk about or review, as it is my favorite thing to do!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now, let me get to business! Ipsy Bag!!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is what I got on May 2016 bag! I really like the bag. I feel like it is so girly and "worldly". Also, I studied abroad in Italy and to see the Colosseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa made me like it even more, and let's not forget it is PINK! Hello! So good job Ipsy!!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is a closer look at the cute bag:</div>

For the products I got I will say it I was pleased with them, and I do have one that I WILL purchase for sure! This time around I will leave the price of the full size products so you can know how much each product retails for. (Note to Ipsy, why don't you do that!! We would so appreciate it!)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am a serious makeup brush hoarder so as usual I was happy when I got a brush. I like this brush. It is very small which will help with a precise application on the crease, inner corner and even maybe to blend eye shadows under the eyes when doing a smokey eye look. It is very soft and it picks product nicely. This brush retails for $12.00 and you can buy it <a href="http://www.insprbeauty.com/eye-fluff-brush/" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Mellow Matte Lipstick in the Shade Electro</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next product I got was the Mellow Matte Lipstick in the shade Electro. This lipstick is very pigmented. It looks like a very rich orange although on the stick it looks more bright red. Being a fan of orange lipsticks I like this product. It is creamy which I appreciate on a matte lipstick since I don't feel like my lips will fall off. Now, the staying power not so good. Also, you definitely need to use a lip liner or this will bleed outside your lips. This product retails for $13.00 and you can buy it <a href="http://www.mellowcosmetics.com/lips/creamy-matte-lipstick-madness-4-2g" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>

</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was one of the meh products on the bag. I don't feel like I felt any real improvement on my skin after using it a couple of times. It claims to perfect troublesome young skin, so maybe my skin is just not that young. It might do better for 20 years old that do not have that much damage on their skin? The mask smells really good though, you can definitely smell the strawberry in it which I liked, and it applied nicely and didn't burn or made me break out. I just didn't see any results. This product retails for $6.99 and you can buy it <a href="http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod4180687" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This eyeliner was good just not wow. It does what it claims to do, it slides pretty nicely, does not tug, nicely pigmented and it is waterproof. It is good for tight lining since it will not go anywhere. The reason I would not buy it is because for an eyeliner I would look for something with a skinnier tip. Other than that it is fine. This product retails for $22.00 and you can buy it <a href="http://www.itcosmetics.com/no-tugr-waterproof-gel-eyeliner" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm</td></tr>

<div style="text-align: center;">
For me, this product was the star of the Bag. I loved it and will most certainly purchase it. I love this balm. I have been wearing it non-stop. I apply some before going to bed and also during the day. I have very chapped lips and since using this my lips have not chapped at all. Before using it, they were in pretty bad shape, they were cracked and bleeding, so I really feel like this healed them! Big huge plus! This was the first time I've heard of this brand but will definitely check their products. Not to mention, they are all natural! This product retails for $21.50 and you can buy it <a href="http://www.theorganicpharmacy.com/health-beauty/antioxidant-lip-balm/1088" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So there you have it. That's my two cents on the products I got from Ipsy in May. I have to say, I am not to sure if I will continue my subscription with Ipsy, I like the products but I feel like I am getting more of the same every month. I have been thinking about switching to Boxycharm or FabFitFun. Let me know what your opinions are about them, and if you wish me to keep doing Ipsy reviews. </div>

Until next time, stay gorgeous!</div>

One thing I hate to do is chores. I am sure every person on the planet will agree with me on this statement. Who wants to spend hours at a time cleaning and scrubbing when we could be binge watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? When I decided to stay at home to take care of my son one thing I vowed to do was to keep the house clean and organized. Hey, I am at home all day, at least I want it to be pretty and clean? But, one thing I do not like, is spending a whole day cleaning and missing quality time with my family. So I have been using this schedule to stay on top of chores around the house. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First thing that is important is that the first time you do this you will have to spend at least one day of deep cleaning to get your house perfectly clean, then it will be just upkeep. This is my schedule:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Mondays</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Mondays are bedroom days. I start my day by taking all sheets from our bedroom and my son's bedroom and washing them. While they are in the wash I dust our nightstands, blinds, windowsills, door frames, baseboards and crown moldings. I wipe every surface with cleaner and put new sheets on the beds and crib. I also do a load of all the blankets we have on our couch. It seems like a lot but it takes me an hour tops to do all this, which I do while my son naps. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Tuesdays</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tuesdays are bathroom days. I wash all towels, washcloths, changing table cover, hand towels and bathroom rugs. While they wash I clean showers and toilets, and wipe down counters and mirrors. I sweep the bathroom floors and dust the bathroom door frames, baseboards and crown molding. After towels are clean I fold them and hang new towels to be used that week. This is by far the hardest day since it takes me around 2 hours to do this, but again, it is not that much in comparison to doing the whole house in one day. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Wednesdays</b> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Wednesdays are kitchen days. As soon as I wake up in the morning I put a load of whites on the washer. Then I scrub and sanitize counter tops, wipe any spills on the microwave, wipe the stove top, wipe the cabinets and sweep and mop the kitchen floor. I also dust the floorboards and the door frame. Finally I go through the fridge and toss anything that is expired and wipe any spills. I also do a quick tidy up of the pantry. Before going to bed I fold and put away that load of laundry.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Thursdays</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thursdays are my easiest day! As soon as I wake up I put a load of light colors. During the day I sweep the dining room floor and mop it. I clean the table and dust baseboards, crown molding, door frames and picture frames. I also clean my son's high chair. In the afternoon I do a load of my son's baby clothes and then fold them. I also fold the load of laundry I put in the morning.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Fridays</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fridays are living room days. In the morning I put a load of dark clothes on the wash. During the day I sweep the floors of the living room, mop, dust the floorboards, crown molding, door frames, blinds and furniture. I also wipe my son's toys and organize them. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Saturdays</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Saturdays I vacuum the house and dust our stairs picture frames and floorboards. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Sundays</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Rest, rest and rest some more. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Because I have this routine I have a decently cleaned house every day. There is always chores I do every day like put away my son's toys and do dishes. Every morning I unload the dishwasher and during the day I load it again. At the end of the day I run it and so I have clean dishes in the morning. By keeping this schedule at any given day I have less than an hour of house chores except on Tuesdays. This gives me plenty of time to take care of my son and have time to prepare dinner. This is what works for me and my family and keeps my OCD in check. It drives me insane to have a dirty house. I don't want to be a slave of cleaning, and I really, really like to binge watch Real Housewives! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope this helps you to create a cleaning routine that works for you!</div>

This year was my first official Mother's Day! As my present, my son woke up at 4:45 am! Happy Mother's Day to you, Frances. My husband was nice enough to take care of him until 7 am, then he brought him to my bed. Up until that day, I had nursed him in the morning, while we snuggled together. As I laid in bed with my son happily nursing, almost falling asleep from a milk induced coma, I started to cry a bit. Not because it was Mother's Day but because I knew that was the last time I was going to nurse my son. It was going to be the last time he would drift to sleep while still latched. The last time I would feed him with my body. The very last latch! A world of emotions came pouring down! I felt so grateful I was able to breastfeed for as long as I did. I only planned to do so for 6 months and was able to nurse him for 9 1/2 months! Before having him, I didn't know the incredible connection you have with your child when you breastfeed. I took a couple of pictures of that last nursing session. Time stood still and I held to that moment for as long as I could. And then it happened, he fell completely asleep and unlatched for the very last time! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Even as a write this, tears are pouring down. I get so emotional about it, although I know it was time for us to move forward. The next morning, my son woke up and my husband went to get him as I went downstairs and made a bottle for him. I gave him the bottle on our bed, snuggled like always, the only difference was the bottle. He was happy and content and drifted to sleep without even noticing momma was no longer nursing him. And so life kept going. He is still a happy boy. He still looks for me for comfort. He still snuggles for two hours in the morning on my bed. Nothing has changed in his eyes. For that I am grateful. I was so worried that he was not going to adjust but he did, he was ready to wean. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As for me, I am still dealing with the aftermath of not nursing anymore. I had some engorgement for a couple of days but now it is bearable. Life is the same. Emotions have settled down and I am happy again. I do miss nursing but at the same time, I am happy I have a bit more flexibility. Breastfeeding was an amazing experience. At the beginning I struggled with low milk supply, soreness, bleeding, latch problems and vasospasms, but I am so happy I powered through! I gave my son a wonderful gift, and I feel he, in return, gave me the satisfaction that I did it. Not all women are as lucky as I am to nurse their babies. Some struggle so much they have to stop and formula feed (which is also totally fine). For any woman who is struggling with nursing, if you really want to do it, power through, don't give up and surround yourself with a supporting group. That's what I did. I had my husband who was incredibly supportive and an amazing friend who gave me the strength to keep on going and encouraged me. She listened and gave me her advise. I even sent her pictures to see if she could tell me what was going on with my latch and my ladies... I am so grateful for her and for my support group! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If I have another baby, I will most certainly endure all of this again. It was so worth it! My son thrived and with every pound he gained I felt prouder because I know that was 100% me! With every roll of fat he had, with every milestone he reached, I felt like a super mom! Now things are a bit different but also the same. Different because I have to mix formula and feed him a bottle but they are the same because his attitude towards his mommy and our relationship is the same. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope by sharing my journey, some of you felt comfort in knowing that you are not alone. That it is a very draining yet satisfying experience. If you are nursing your baby, you go momma! Pat yourself in the back, because it is not easy! If you are about to wean, you can do it, and give yourself time to get used to it. Don't rush it. I am happy with my approach.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Stay strong! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
